We are looking for an ambitious IT professional with solid experience in building, tuning, and supporting databases in order to optimize performance and to meet business requirements. The database architect with collaborate with clients, and translate their requirements into solutions. The right candidate will be a great communicator with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Proactively monitoring databases to meet performance requirements
- Implementing structural database changes
- Performing troubleshooting and problem resolution for database-related issues
- Working with clients to identify business reporting needs and develop and maintain reports and the reporting infrastructure
- Developing SharePoint projects
- Developing SQL Business Intelligence Cubes and working with BI Studio
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience as a senior Database Developer or Database Architect
- 5+ years experience building and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server databases; experience with Business Intelligence/ cube building a plus
- 5+ years experience developing database design documents
- 3+ years experience with Microsoft Sharepoint
- Experience with perl, and/or other scripting languages a plus
